Suffering at Christmas

Merry Christmas to each of you!

I pray this day finds you rejoicing and full of joy today!  However, I know that often Christmas can be so difficult.  I have been so burdened for so many folks who are suffering in one way or another this Christmas. it’s on every side. Pain, sickness, loss…so much hurting and suffering.  It may seem an awful time of year to be dealing with hard things, but as I shared on this past Saturday’s broadcast, suffering can help us realize why Christ came.  You can listen to the broadcast by clicking this link~

Suffering at Christmas

  1. Thank you Denise. I sure needed to see this…we found out my husbands family (‘clan’ as we all it it) all met last night for Christmas Eve. Not a mention to us…just so sad…the ‘glue’ (my father in law) that kept the family together passed on nearly 30 years ago. I am afraid he wouldn’t be happy about all this.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. smiles

    1. I’m so sorry, Linda. When I’m rejected I remind myself that ALL forsook Christ before He died. It’s hurtful, for sure, but because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we never have to endure these things alone. Praying for you now. 💕

  2. Oh yes, so much sadness. A friend whose baby had no heartbeat when she went in for a scheduled Csection just a couple weeks ago. Another family whose 12 year old daughter died when a tree limb fell on their car. We are desperate for the comfort and hope we have in the Lord.
