My number one priority in writing this blog is to glorify my great God.  Ever since I was saved at the age of seven, it’s been my understanding that God loved me and sent His Son, Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for my sin.  I received Him as my Savior and have never doubted His love for me or His promise of a relationship with Him now and heaven for eternity.  What a wonderful joy to know Him as my Savior, Redeemer and Friend!

My next priority here is to refresh the hearts of women with the Word of God. His Book is life changing when we read it, obey it and apply it. My method of teaching is simple application as the Lord teaches me through illustrations in life. I love sharing these truths with women that they might draw close to the Lord with their heart.

Our homes are gifts from the Lord, and I believe it’s our duty to make it the most inviting place on earth! I enjoy sharing decorating ideas I’ve learned as well as good recipes that keep our kitchens warm and our homes welcoming.

Lastly, it’s my desire to refresh your life ~ the ordinary things that make up each day. It might be through sharing an organizational tool, a new Pinterest find or a date idea to help freshen up your life.

I’m in the process of learning all these things myself, and I love sharing my growth and finds with you here on my blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Denise, your name was given me by a friend’s daughter, who said you spoke at the Indiana Fellowship of Baptist Churches Ladies Retreat. I would like to know more about you as we would like to consider you for a speaker in Illinois at our Association of Independent Baptist Churches of Illinois Ladies Retreat.

    Need doctrinal statement, etc.

    Thank you.

    1. Hello Jan,
Thanks so much for your inquiry. It’s so kind of you to consider me. If the Lord leads that way, I’d be honored to come. Next week I will send you the information you requested. Thanks again, Denise
