Even if you consider yourself a recluse, I think it’s true that God created us to need one another. We need to be with people. God’s demonstration of that was creating Eve for Adam. He needed a companion. A spouse is a wonderful answer to the need for companionship, but there are also so many other relationships that we should foster and for many reasons and benefits. Consider

- Laughing together
- Learning to listen
- Demonstrating compassion
- Sharing the Truth of God’s Word, either with an unbeliever or a follower of Christ
- Learning from them
- Getting creative ideas
- Giving help
