On Tuesday, October 14th we will have our second Progressive Mug Supper at church. Here’s how it works: you bring a special mug. There will be prizes for the biggest, prettiest, and most unusual, so hunt out that really special one! We will begin the night by filling our mug with a hot beverage and then we’ll mingle, sip, and look at everyone’s mugs and vote for our favorites.
After washing your mug out, you’ll then choose a soup or chili that’s been brought for your main course. After another wash, you’ll head for dessert – it might be cobbler, or chocolate brownies with ice cream and hot fudge sauce.
After dinner we’ll have a time around God’s Word, then we’ll end the night with some practical advice about Thanksgiving. We’ll hear about creative table decorations, special traditions, and how to plan ahead so you won’t be running crazy the day of Thanksgiving.
You won’t want to miss this fun evening!
