Hobby Lobby Deals!

Who doesn’t love Hobby Lobby? Well, my husband doesn’t, but most women love this store for lots of reasons. For me, it has everything – crafting supplies, decor items, daily planning needs, lighting, even a selection of Christian books and Bibles and lots more! But one other thing I love about the store is all the great sales!

I’ve heard lots of people say that when they walk the marked down aisles all they find is broken items. Friends, you are looking in the WRONG PLACES for the deals.

When I go into Hobby Lobby, I try to keep an eye on an item I’m interested in. I wait and wait until it’s marked down with an orange sticker or on the 75% off seasonal sale . The beautiful wood piece over my bathroom door (pictured above) had been $40 but I snagged it for $10. It found it on the aisle where all the other wood pieces were. So don’t limit yourself to the one or two aisles that say 75% off decor. Walk up and down, keeping an eye open for orange stickers! They are all throughout the store. It’s amazing to me how much a $10 decor piece can add to a room!

Yesterday I stopped by to look at their spring items marked 66% off. I decided to get a few things to tuck away for hostess gifts. I also found a painting tool I needed – a protractor marked from $2.39 to 37 cents. Here’s my cute little haul that I paid right at $8 for.

That square with the lemons on it is a set of two dish cloths. I love these. They turn soft and spongy in the soapy water. They last forever and can even be thrown into the washer. I use the paper cups for my yogurt breakfast when I’m headed out the door. They’re also good for scoops of ice cream when serving guests on the patio. They were sale priced at only $1.

Lastly, I found an item that was getting ready for the shelves – an 18-month planner book that looks a LOT like my Happy Planner, for only $15. I’m excited to use it beginning tomorrow (how is it already July?). It’s so beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. It has nice, big squares for planning, monthly prayer requests and birthdays, stickers, a pocket, and monthly goals/plans.
