This past weekend my girls and I had a fantastic time celebrating mine and Whitney’s birthdays. I’ll share more of the fun details on Friday’s post, but here’s a little bit of how we spent our three days and two nights together.
We traveled to Whitney’s house and we stayed there, but they had made plans for us to go out and enjoy their favorite restaurants and shops in the area. However, we ate breakfast at Whitney’s house both mornings. Alli was in charge of that meal. She really likes to try new things for that morning meal, and both of her offerings were really good, but the second day was super good!
She fixed a variation of Avocado Toast that added a little protein and a splash of flavor!
Avocado Toast with Whipped Cream Cheese & Bacon
- Toasted Bread
- Whipped Cream Cheese
- Avocado, mashed
- Everything But the Bagel Seasoning
- Bacon
- Balsamic Glaze
Spread cream cheese over toast. Top with mashed avocado. Sprinkle with bagel seasoning. Top with bacon. (We decided it might make it even easier to eat if you crumble the bacon on it, rather than lying a slice on the bread.) Drizzle Balsamic glace over toast.
This is a delicious twist on Avocado Toast! It kept me going all morning while we shopped our way through town! It couldn’t be much easier to make, too! This would be a pricey entree’ an a restaurant, but can be fixed at home at a fraction of the cost!
