Happy Good Friday!

It’s been a lovely week at home after a ladies’ retreat last weekend at Southland Camp in Louisiana. It was a wonderful time with precious friends, old and new!

How blessed I am to serve the Lord in this way. God teaches me His Word, I run to Him for strength and ability, then share that with women. My heart gets filled to the brim and He gets the glory. I have nothing in me to say! His Word is everything we need for this life and eternity!

My sweet husband traveled with me and served me all weekend. Not sure what I’d do without him!

Now this week has been filled with some rest and also preparation for this Easter weekend. I’m hosting my family for dinner, so I’ve tried to work ahead a bit.

My menu has some old favorites with a couple new additions I’ll share soon.

On this Good Friday my heart runs to the cross with gratitude that Jesus would die in my place, giving me eternal life and peace with God. As the Gaither song says, “because He lives, I can face tomorrow!”

I pray that you truly know Christ and that this isn’t merely a religious holiday to you. He loves you. He died for you! As my sister posted this week in Instagram,
