When we were looking for a home to purchase a couple years ago, my sweet friend and realtor laughed at my “clean oven fetish!” I would walk into the kitchen, open the oven door and also look at the stove top and give my approval or dislike for its cleanliness. My food goes in there! I like it clean on the inside and shining on the outside!
Then we moved into a brand new house and I got a stove that was perfectly clean! I needed a bottle of stove top cleaner to keep it that way, so thinking they were all alike, I purchased a random bottle. I had to wipe and wipe and wipe to get the streaks off! It drove me crazy! Then I recently found this bottle of Weiman Cleaner. It is the best cleaner I’ve ever used. II gets the grime off the stove and doesn’t leave a filmy residue that is hard to get off!
If you don’t have a product you love, I would highly recommend this one to you! Just look at that shine!
My plug for this product isn’t sponsored – it’s my totally my opinion. Hope this helps you keep your stove so clean it could sell your house for you!
Stay refreshed!

I use that product as well Denise. I have also found that a razor blade will help to get off the residue that seems to build up on smooth cook tops. I got that hint from watching HGTV. It was a program that I enjoyed that is no longer aired. I cannot remember the name but it was showing how to get a house ready for sale and the host showed the owners the razor blade trick so I keep some hidden away just for that purpose. No more scrubbing!!

I use a razor blade, too. My dad taught me that trick. Works perfectly, doesn’t it?

Love that cleaner (and a shiny stove top)! I use the edge of a paring knife to scrape residue when necessary–you know, when those pesky po-taters boil over!!!

Where did you buy it? I ran out of the little bottle that came with my oven.
And thank you for still loving me even though my oven is gross. At least my closets are organized. Ha. 🙂

Maybe some day we’ll have a session in your kitchen like we had at my linen closet. 🙂 I can’t remember where I bought it, but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it at Ingles. I also wish I could remember the name of the stuff I hated; I just know there were two faces on the front – like silhouettes. DON’T BUY THAT! Can you tell I have an opinion about it? Ha. I take my clean oven very serious. 🙂
