Spring Kitchen Refresh: Easy Decor Ideas

It’s almost officially spring and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve been going around the house lightening up the colors, removing heavy blankets from the sofas, and adding a few touches of decor. I took my battery operated candles from the windows when daylight Savings Time arrived, too.

I’m going to give you a little peek into my kitchen to show you how I’ve implemented the spring season there.

I found the inspiration for this basket on Pinterest. All I had to buy was the bunny and the carrots! It cost me about $5! Thank you, Hobby Lobby! I may hang it on my front door later, but he was so cute I wanted to keep it nearby and the kitchen was the perfect spot.

I added a blue drying mat that is actually pretty! My chalkboard got a simple floral design. My husband purchased the adorable Pooh towel for me in January and I saved it for spring. It might be a little much beside my floral chalkboard, but “Oh bother,” I just have this love for Pooh that I couldn’t resist putting it out anyway.

I took most of the winter photos off the fridge and tried to add brighter colors. I especially love the card a friend sent me with Nancy Wolgemuth’s saying, Heaven Rules! Such a good reminder that in every situation, God is sovereignly ruling.

Lightened up colors on the table make it bright, and the beautiful sunshine the Lord sent is a lovely addition to every kitchen!

Lastly, I’ve made a plate wall in my dining room that I’m going to change out seasonally. I’m still looking for a couple more smaller plates to add to the collection. These four adorable plates came from Hobby Lobby and TJ Maxx. Those bunnies…🩷!

I hope this inspires you to refresh your kitchen with some spring touches.
