It’s true – I have an addiction for lamps. It’s because of their incredible power. Aside from giving light for reading, hobbies or work, they can take a cold, dark corner and turn it into a cozy, inviting space.
When Whitney brought a rechargeable lamp to the hotel for our girl’s trip a few weeks back, it added a lovely, homey touch to our hotel room. After our trip was over, I thought about several “dark” places in my home where there is no outlet for a “real” lamp. I went looking and found a pretty copper-based one at TJ Maxx that I loved. I had so much fun when I brought it home putting it in several spots that need the coziness it could give.
The first place I placed it was on the ottoman at the foot of the bed. It was pretty, but not really necessary. Then I moved it to my walk-in closet and realized that this was why I purchased this lamp. This space has an overhead light, but a soft lamp added just the right touch.
My entryway is another spot that could use a rechargeable lamp because of the awkward placement of the outlet.
Patio tables, front porches, bookshelves or cabinets…these lamps could go in so many places!
I’ve been impressed with how long the lamp keeps its charge, too. This is a great little lamp to add to your collection, if you’re a lamp addict, too!
