I shared today’s recipe 15 years ago here on my blog! I hadn’t made these in a long time, but recently in one of my cooking lessons with my grandson, I thought of this recipe and knew it would be one he could do, and would enjoy. He and his brother loved them! These are simple, made up primarily of ground beef and canned biscuits.
These whip up quickly and are great for lunch or dinner. They also freeze well for a couple weeks.
Here’s how you make them:
Barbecue Beef Cups
1 pound hamburger
Barbecue Sauce
Shredded cheddar cheese
1 Can of 10 biscuits – I like to use a nice buttermilk or butter biscuit that will stretch into the muffin cup. The cheaper biscuits tend to shrink up. The ones I used from Aldi were really good!

Brown meat; drain fat. Add about 1/2 – 3/4 cup barbecue sauce to meat and stir to combine. Place biscuits in muffin tin. Make a well in each biscuit to hold meat mixture. Spoon meat into biscuit.

Bake according to instructions on biscuit package. Remove when browned. Sprinkle tops with cheese.

These are a quick meal with simple ingredients and a satisfying flavor. Here’s my proud rising chef!

Enjoy!!
