Maybe you don’t need another reason to visiit Hobby Lobby, but I have to share some great items and some great deals I found while shopping recently that can be used long after the holiday season is over!
Yesterday while I purusing the aisles of Hobby Lobby’s Thanksgiving and Christmas sections, I realized that there are so many items that aren’t “holiday specific” that are such a good deal at 50% off. You have to walk down the aisles and look through the lens of practicality. There are so many items that are sitting innocently amongst the holiday merchandise just waiting to be noticed and used beyond Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Let me show you a bunch of items I found that could serve anyone at other times of the year!
You know how blah everything looks after all the Christmas decorations are down? I love having winter greens to keep things looking cozy. I picked up one of these adorable little wreaths to hang up after Christmas. It will be perfect for January and February! It was about $3.70 at half price.
These houses that come in white or black are so pretty on a mantle with twinkling lights. They could be another decor to fill the empty spaces after Christmas decor is down.
A fluffy snowflake pillow could also go all the way through winter!

These linens are solid colors. I purchased two of these creamy white tablecloths last year and they have served me all year long.

They sell many wooden trays, bowls and cutting boards that have no design on them. These make ovely gifts! I purchased a tiny board to use as a “tray” for a mini loaf of bread I’m giving as a hostess gift.
A digital thermometer for $5 is a great deal! Yes, you can use it for your turkey, and then your chicken, pork, bread…!
Their wrapping paper is premium. This plain brown wrap is great for any gift any time of the year!
If you know someone who loves pens, crafting, or wriitng, these 50 pens for $7.50 is a fun gift. You could even split the assortment up and add some pens to pretty paper, notecards, a notebook or journal and share with several people!
Take a stroll in your local Hobby Lobby and see what you can find while their prices are still reduced to 50%. There are some really great deals just waiting to be found!
What’s your most recent “fun find” while shopping?
