Apple Cider Pork Tenderloin

I love a good pork recipe! Some years back, Cracker Barrel served an Apple Cider Pork Tenderloin. It was so delicious! I knew I had to try to reinvent the recipe at home. I remember that when I served it, the platter was cleaned!

I recently went through my recipes here on my blog and stumbled across that recipe that I came up with. I had a pork tenderloin in the freezer, as well as apple cider and jars of apple butter, so I put this in the crock pot for our dinner. It came out tender and juicy!

Here’s how I made it –

I placed a pork loin in a crockpot and seasoned the meat with salt and pepper. I then spread apple butter over the meat and poured about a cup of apple cider into the crockpot. I covered the meat with fresh, chopped rosemary. Fuji apples were sliced and placed around the meat.

I set the temperature probe to 160 degrees. When the meat was cooked, I removed it and let it rest.

Meanwhile, I made a slurry to the crockpot juices to thicken them for gravy. I also added some beef broth. The cider makes it a sweet gravy, but it’s so good on the meat!

I served it with roasted sweet potatoes and green beans. What a great fall meal this is!

Let the fall recipes roll!!
