Menu Monday

After a few weekends on the road, we’re home for a couple weeks. That means that my empty fridge needs to be stocked! The eggs, butter and condiments are lonely in there!

I’m still making my way through my pantry and freezer, but it’s scaled back enough that I’m purchasing a few items outside the “perishable only“ category.

I pulled up my Pinterest inspirations and made up my menu for lunches and suppers. These are mostly all new recipes to me! This will be spread out over the next two weeks with other freezer staples being used as well.

I created this menu on my phone while driving home from North Carolina, then took a screen shot to show you. I also made my shopping list on my phone while I created the menu. I usually do this in my planner when I’m home, but where there’s a will, there’s a way!

Then a couple weeks ago my daughter told me she asked Chat GPT to create a menu for her! In a matter of seconds, she had a week’s worth of meals, complete with shopping list!

Food Inspiration From Great Restaurants

We have been on vacation this past week and we ate breakfast and lunch in our condo, then enjoyed eating our main meal out each day. I love trying new food options – things I don’t normally make at home. New food and flavor combinations stretch my taste buds and my culinary skills, so I’m always looking out for something a little different on the menu.

Because we were on the coast, we had seafood every day! We also had some other fare that was just delicious! I”ll share a few of the new flavor combinations I loved.
