Welcome to my home. My Christmas decor is simple – there are no lights outside, no blow-up characters in the yard, but it’s Christmas-y enough for me. Come inside and take a look around!

The kitchen is such a hub of activity with baking and entertaining. I have several little touches in this room.

I decided that the things most important to me were my tree, twinkling lights on the mantle and touches in the kitchen. Though there is still LOTS of decor sitting in boxes, I haven’t missed it! Part of simplifying my routine and not getting overwhelmed this year was not feeling like everything had to be decorated as I normally do. I’m thinking I may have started a new trend at our house!
Come back on Monday and I’ll share some holiday dishes I’m making for the brunch I’m hosting for our family next week, as well as the recipes I’m taking to our family Christmas Eve dinner. These are some southern dishes at their finest!
Breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you sharing (no blow up anything here at our house, we do have lights strung on the front porch though, smiles).

It’s very pretty, Denise. I decorated with a lot less this year and I really like the simplicity of it all. Can;t wait to see what recipes you have to share with us on Monday.
