Since the kitchen counter is pretty much the center of the activity in the kitchen, how about a little inspiration to spiff it up a bit?
I love to go to Pinterest and get some ideas of ways to make a vignette on my island.
- Look around your cupboards and fill a vase with utensils
- Put out a pretty bowl with fruit
- Add a holiday display
- Use what you have, things you love and gather them on a tray. Cut flowers from your yard. Put a cookbook on a little upright stand, or stack plates on it and some pretty cloth napkins folded nearby.
Get creative and make it inviting!
I hope this inspires you to add spot of beauty and also some practicality to your kitchen counter or island, even if it means you need to “locate” the counter first!
