Healthy Low-Fat Meal Ideas for the Week

I’m excited that we have a couple weeks at home! That means I get to cook for us, which requires planning ahead. I’m going to go for some good protein and low fat meals. I have gone to my Pinterest boards and pulled some new recipes to try. Healthy and delicious, is my goal! If you need some inspiration for your menus this week, check below for some scrumptious suggestions!

Lunch

Have you ever heard of a Big Mac Taco? I hadn’t, but this little video got me interested in trying it! I’m going to use low carb tortilla shells and a low-fat beef for a quick lunch idea!

Also for lunch, we’ll have Cashew Chicken Lettuce Wraps. If you have never had a lettuce wrap, you may be surprised at the fact that you don’t miss the bread if the ingredients in the lettuce are delicious!

I’ve posted before about the Open-faced Tuna Sandwiches from Skinny Taste. I love these. They are so good on my Sour dough bread and grilled on my griddle.

For our supper meals, here’s what I have planned:

Veggie Strombolies
Balsamic Chicken,
Oven-Crisp Fish Tacos
Waffle Salmon Patties

I love having a plan laid out for the week and also being excited about cooking that food! My sweet husband is always happy to try my new recipes; I’m thankful for that!
