This morning I rose and pulled back the curtain to see the new day – to see what was happening outside my window. I wanted to see the brightness of the sun, the beauty of the morning and of the freshness of the new day. It was easy – I just took my hand and pushed back the curtain. Do you know that there are many times when God does the same thing for us so that we will be encouraged in prayer; so that we will see that He is indeed working on our behalf? How To Have Life and Peace

It was a busy evening of decorating the church for our recent Vacation Bible School when one of the leaders picked up a “Conversation Beach Ball” and decided it was time for a break. The theme for my fall is “Retreat!” I will have participated in five of them by the time Thanksgiving arrives, and I love it!! I’ll be on the giving end of each of these retreats, but I’ve had the blessing of being on the receiving end MANY times! I know that to attend a retreat: Continue reading “Three Ways To Make the Most of a Retreat”
