My Christmas Recap

Christmas Morning Breakfast!

Hi Friends!  I pray you’ve had a wonderful Christmas and are still reveling in God’s grace gift of His Son.  I’m still chilling over here and enjoying a little rest before the new year happens!

Whitney at Come Home for Comfort posted a great recap of our Christmas complete with great photos of our time and all the food we shared.  If you’re interested you can go here to see it all! She did a great job capturing the spirit of our time together!

I’ll be back next week with some of my own photos of Christmas, goals and new ideas to hopefully refresh 2019!

See you soon!

  1. It has been SO hard to see posts on FaceBook and read blog posts such as these this Christmas. We spent the day literally fighting with my mom who has dementia. She became physical and we had to call 911 for help. we spent the day in the hospital ER before she was finally admitted around midnight. After a day and a half, she was discharged, only to have her try and get out of the car while in motion on the way home. Another 911 call, and back to the hospital. We missed Christmas Day with our kids and granddaughter. It’s been a very stressful time. God must have a reason for all of this. Praying He reveals that to us so we can learn and grow from this experience.

    1. Stephanie,
I do not know you , but what you’re describing must be so hard to go through. I am praying for you now to have peace and strength from the Lord and wisdom that you need. Jesus loves you!

    2. Stephanie, I am so sorry that you had a difficult Christmas. Even though our pictures are beautiful, nothing is ever perfect. We each have to remember this is why Jesus came. He came for our brokenness. One Day this will all be over. It makes us long for that day, doesn’t it? In the meantime, we have the grace of God to strengthen us and enable us to be able to get through the days like you described. I’m so sorry for your hardship. You are in my prayers.❤️
