Chocolate Cake For Your Valentine

Chocolate cherry cake

Let me start out by saying, Three-Ingredient Chocolate Cake! A-a-a-a-nd, it’s absolutely fantastic!

Since Valentine’s Day is this week, I felt that a recipe for something chocolate had to be posted today!  I’ve shared this recipe before, but I recently came across it in my recipe page and I swooned at the sight of it!
I’m truly not sure you could find an easier recipe!  It starts with a boxed cake mix and only has two more ingredients added to it.  Mix and put it into the cake pan!  The icing is super simple, too, and simply gets poured over the warm cake!  No spreading, no fuss!
If you’re making a meal for your Valentine, and they like chocolate, look no further for what to make for dessert!  I’m telling you, this is a killer cake!  A little scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side takes the rich chocolate and makes it perfect!!  Here’s the simple recipe:
Chocolate Cherry Cake
1 box Chocolate Cake mix
2 eggs
1 can Cherry Pie Filling
Mix ingredients and pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min, or until the top springs back.
While cake is in the oven make the icing:
5 Tbl. marg.
1/3 cup milk
1 cup sugar
Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 1 cup chocolate chips. Let icing sit for 15 minutes. Pour warm icing over warm cake. Store cake in the fridge.
Refresh your Valentine with the Best Chocolate Cake!  Only you will know how simple it was to make!
