Sometimes it’s just the little things that can refresh a day! I have several “new to me” things that I want to share, just in case you haven’t discovered them yet! They’re not huge or expensive, but they can be game changers!
Hair Product – I have fine hair that needs texturizing in the cut, and also in the products I use to style my hair. A few months ago I found this texture spray and it really helps! The spray nozzle was a little weird, so I found it best to spray the product into my hand and massage it into my slightly wet hair.

Also, on the days when I don’t wash my hair, I pump this into my hands and work it into my hair. Then I use my dryer brush to add lift. This makes a lot of difference!
Phone App –

Another new thing I’m loving is the Libby app. It’s a library app that is FREE. I have listened to two audio books and also read some of my favorite magazines! Taste of Home, Pioneer Woman, to name two. There are great Christian authors, as well as secular. I listened to the audio version of Trusting God, by Jerry Bridges.
You can put popular books on hold and the app will notify you when they are available. You need a library card to use the app, but that’s it! I understand that you can also apply for a card for other libraries to access even more books. What an incredible tool this is!
Coffee Creamer –
Lastly, I have found a creamer for my coffee that is lower in calories and is delicious! I’m not a fan of the “Sugar free” creamers. That nasty after-taste is not worth it. I have been using Planet Oat creamer for several weeks now and I am a fan! It’s sweetened slightly and still foams nicely in my coffee. It’s a great alternative to the regular creamers, if you’re looking to try something different. I’m not positive how much healthier it is, but it is less calories, yet it’s very good. I need that morning coffee to be delicious, and the Plant Oat keeps me looking forward to that cup of steamy liquid when I arise!
Have you tried any of these three items? If not, I hope they’ll refresh your day like they have mine!

Thanks for sharing! I haven’t used the texture spray, and since my hair is so thick, I probably don’t need it. I have heard of the Libby app; I’ll have to check it out. I have so many books I want to read, that it would probably be good for me to listen to some of them! And I started using the Planet Oat creamer a few months ago. I was already buying dairy-free creamer, but I saw that brand on sale and decided to try it. It is definitely the best of the dairy-free creamers that we’ve tried. I hope your family is doing well. Praying for you all!

The reason I downloaded the Libby app was so I could listen and read more books as I’m working. It’s been such a blessing!
It’s always good to hear from you, Karen!
