Today is the first day of fall and aren’t we all thinking about comforting casseroles, warm soups, and pumpkin everything? I’m sharing this list of fall foods again became it’s full of all the BEST recipes for this season!

I love the exchange of a recipe card. It’s written in the handwriting of the giver. There was an occasion that transpired that brought the request for the recipe. Perhaps a shared meal in a home, a church function, or a family reunion. The recipe was too good to not enjoy again, so the request was made-
Will you share your recipe with me?
We know others will enjoy it, so we make the recipe, and the process is likely to be repeated.
I think the same is true of good advice or teaching. When we hear something that could benefit others, it should be shared so they can enjoy it, too. Last weekend my husband shared solid, practical marriage counsel for enjoying a joy-filled relationship. It’s too good not to share with you!

Mid-day it is warm, but when the sun lowers just a tad in the early evening, the chill sets in once again. I have to say I’m enjoying it after some pretty hot days last summer. As we were taking a walk after supper last night I mentioned to my husband that fall is becoming a favorite season. I love the long shadows in the early evening, the crickets chirping, the comfort of a throw on my lap while on the backyard swing, and the brisk morning temperatures. I’m also seeing the beginning of colors in the trees and bushes. Beautiful.🍂
