Books I’ve Loved Recently

I love books so much, and since I’ve discovered the LIbby App, that I told you about, I’ve been able to devour some great titles! I enjoy reading, but listening to audio books has enabled me to do tasks and “read” at the same time! What a blessing! I’ve enjoyed both fiction and nonfiction, mixing it up to keep me growing in my walk with God, and also having some other kind of books just for fun.

Sweet Refrigerator Pickles

When your garden gives you cucumbers…

you thank the Lord and make pickles! I’ve been making this refrigerator Dill Pickle recipe in past years, but I decided that this batch would be a sweet variety. I found a recipe on PInterest from this site. She has some great recipes…if you don’t mind scrolling through LOTS of ads that pop up. (Grrr.) The blessing of refrigerator pickles is that you don’t have to can them. They can stay in your fridge for a couple of months.

Go Play With the Moon (dough)

How’s your summer going, moms of school-age children? If you need a fun little project to perk up the mid-summer doldrums, I have a fun and easy project/craft/activity for you and your child that is inexpensive, easy, quick, and doesn’t make a huge mess. This is a modeling dough that is so much easier to clean up than play dough!
