This week finds us on the road again, ministering with D&D Ministry. I guess it’s no surprise that the conferences in February are marriage and family related – subject matters that our hearts/ministry are passionate about. We’re all aware that the family is under great attack. More than ever, we need the truth of God’s Word to instruct, guide, comfort and yes, even convict us so that we will follow God’s mandate for marriage and the home.

Disney Deliciousness
How kind the Lord is to allow our D&D ministry to start back up two weekends ago. We returned to a church in Florida for a meeting. It was a great time with these precious people!
After it ended, we had the fun of meeting our daughter, Whitney and her husband, Paul at Disney World! It had been 40 years since we were there, and that was as sponsors for a school trip, so it wasn’t really a true experience of the parks. Paul and Whitney are pro’s, so she planned our trip and we got to go along for the ride (pun intended!).
Since Monday is normally recipe day here on my blog, I’m going to share some of the amazing food we ate while there. The blessing is that though we took in some calories, we walked an average of six to eight miles each day, so we got in plenty of exercise!
We didn’t just eat inside the parks; we went to the different resorts to enjoy their restaurants as well. That was one of the blessings of traveling Disney with seasoned veterans!
Here are the some of the delicious things we enjoyed and the place where we ate it…

He lets us be a part of so many special people’s lives and of ministries that are doing an awesome work for God. We feel so blessed to partner with them and serve the Lord together!
But here’s a secret – He also allows us to get in lots of fun in the process! These are things that are not in the newsletter, but that I thought you would enjoy seeing!

Like most travelers, I purchased a travel pillow. You know the variety – soft, black fabric stuffed with a filling. The little pillow fits around your neck, allowing you to rest while traveling. That’s all well and good, until the filling starts making my head itch! I don’t know exactly what’s inside of those pillows, but it’s not really conducive to rest. Aside from the itchy factor, it’s too full to allow your head to feel comfortable.
With all the travel we’ve been doing, I knew I had to do something to allow myself to be more comfortable in the car or airplane. Looking at the travel pillows, I realized that it would be simple to create one myself.

We make plans and hold them with open palms. God knows what we need far better than we do! This week we saw God‘s kind and loving hand change our vacation plans, but He made these past three days at North Myrtle Beach extra special for us. Here are a few highlights from our time away…
