In 2008, my sister told me she was considering writing a blog. “What is a blog?,” I asked. The formal definition is:

Blog – regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.

That whole idea intrigued and inspired me because I desired to stay connected with the ladies from my church during the week, and a blog seemed like the perfect platform for that. I also had a burden to encourage women, and thought that writing short posts could accomplish that as well. I desired to refresh women’s lives in three areas –

I’m linking up today with my husband’s blog to share about an exciting change that is coming in our lives – a step involving trusting God.

Walking with Christ is a life of faith and obedience. But without faith, it is impossible to please God; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Decadent Flourless Chocolate Cake

A rich, delicious chocolate dessert doesn’t have to be complicated! I found that to be true when I recently wanted a cake for a special occasion, but didn’t want it to be too rich or too fussy. This Flourless Cake is made in one bowl. It’s a one layer cake that is dense and oh, so moist! I found this recipe and her techniques on Sally’s Baking Addiction, but this recipe is all over the Internet, including on King Arthur Flour’s site. There’s a reason it’s everywhere! It’s naturally gluten-free, and it’s amazing!
