Hobby Lobby Deals!

Who doesn’t love Hobby Lobby? Well, my husband doesn’t, but most women love this store for lots of reasons. For me, it has everything – crafting supplies, decor items, daily planning needs, lighting, even a selection of Christian books and Bibles and lots more! But one other thing I love about the store is all the great sales!

I’ve heard lots of people say that when they walk the marked down aisles all they find is broken items. Friends, you are looking in the WRONG PLACES for the deals.

Chocolate Mocha Cream Cake

I’m not sure if there’s any better dessert for a meal than a moist chocolate cake! I’m happy to share a recipe with you that is amazing, and also reduced in fat and calories!!

Father’s Day dinner was a collaboration between my daughter Alli and me. She did the main meal and we ate that at her house. She fixed a Roasted chicken done in her air fryer on the slow cook mode. When we got home from church she crisped up the skin in the air fryer and it was so good! She and I both LOVE the crispy skin on roasted chicken! She also fixed a delicious salad and potatoes.

I got to fix dessert and we came to my house to enjoy it…and let the boys play in the pool we had just put up!

Plans Change, Love Remains

When special occasions roll around, it’s so much fun to make plans and then have the joy of anticipating that event! But what do we do when/if those carefully laid plans have to be changed or even cancelled? It’s so easy for me to feel frustrated and aggravated when that happens, and then take it out on the very ones with whom I should be celebrating! ~Sigh~
