Scenic Route Day Trip to Dahlonega, Georgia

I love to take day trips to places a few hours away, so I thought others might enjoy hearing about an adorable town you need to see! My husband and I love to get off the main roads and take “the scenic route!”

When my husband and I made a recent trip to Atlanta for a sweet friend’s surgery, Dale decided that on our way home we would take the scenic route and go to Dahlonega, where his parents are buried. While they served in a church in Atlanta, Dahlonega was their place to get away. You’ll see why in the post that follows!
