An Exciting Step of Faith & Obedience

I’m linking up today with my husband’s blog to share about an exciting change that is coming in our lives – a step involving trusting God.

Walking with Christ is a life of faith and obedience. But without faith, it is impossible to please God; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 Faith is required because we don’t see with our eyes how it’s going to happen, how it will work, or exactly what the future holds. Another time of faith has come for us.

February Fun!

For a the shortest month of the year, February was certainly full AND fun! I thought I’d share the highlights with you today as we wrap up this last full week.

Discovering My Spiritual Gift (s)

I have a friend who is the best person at giving gifts! She just has such a knack at knowing what people would enjoy! She’s creative, on-time, and right on target with the needs of the receiver. It just seems so easy for her.

She welcomes with her heart before you even enter the doorway of her house. As a matter of fact, if you see her at church, you sense that warm hospitable heart in the aisle and pew. It’s not about the food she makes or the home in which she lives; it’s her spirit. Everyone feels so accepted and loved by her. I just don’t know how she does it!
