An American Favorite – Salisbury Steak

Recently I went to the kitchen to fix supper and I suddenly thought about an old favorite recipe, and the craving for it caused me to immediately change my menu for the night! It’s one of those comfort-food kind-of-dishes that is delicious, easy and filling, yet so simple that I had everything for it on hand already! It’s also ready in under 30 minutes!!

What did I make?  Salisbury steak.!  If you’re thinking about the frozen dinner variety, think again.  This is meaty, plump and bursting with flavor as well as plenty of gravy to cover the meat and/or any potato you might eat with it.

We suddenly realize that the Lord has a ministry for us and we are awestruck at the opportunity to serve him.

That’s where communication, love, relationships and nurturing thrive. There’s just so much to say about the gathering around the table. Since it’s so important, we should put some thought into making it welcoming. It isn’t stuffy or pretentious, but simple and inviting. How can we do that?

Keep Your Outfit Balanced

Have you ever gotten dressed in an outfit that you thought would be “comfy and easy to wear” and then said something like this –

This doesn’t look right! This makes me look like a big blob!

I sure have! The problem is those enticing/comfy loose clothes need to be accompanied with another garment that is more fitted, rather than flowing. Let me show an example using our dress form I’ve named Grace.

The peplum top in the picture above is full and loose below the waist, and also the sleeves, so styling it with a pair of straight legged white jeans keeps it looking balanced. However, if i styled this top with loose pants the result is quite different.
